I'm also looking to get linux on one of these bad girls. For those that would be interested in joining an IRC room with some of the people that have also frequented that ubuntu forums thread, join #easypc on freenode

we've been talking about it through out the day lately Wink although they are focused on the device from that thread, which is not what our device is... the hardware/drivers is where our problem lays i believe.. not sure, newbie myself

This Is the Suggested desktop or server dedicated to development KaeilOS
Quad core CPU
Which Motherboard with Intel chipsets give faster I / O disk performance
at least 4GB RAM
at least 320GB HD (with big cache and high RPM)

The Crayziest requirements I ever seen...

It may be the requirements for development only or server I don't know
KaeilOS run on mobiles and support somes ARM processors,
It couldn't be the requierment for the OS

As i see, Jolicloud is for x86 processors. We have ARM.

I hope i will have success with Ångström, or Familiar Linux, they are mostly for arm architecture.
