The problem with WinCE is the OS is fragmented in to too many platforms ..Pocket pc 2003 Mobile six Ce 5 ETC and much software will not run on it with out mods,,we had to do this for the electioreader software. We have imported the Anyka into the US for over a year and understand that Anyka is helping with andriod for the net book which already has over 30000 apps,We have recived a sample but Its using the VIA arm nine cpu but is cool and has no problms downloading as it does not need Activesync,We know Andorid is almost ready but one should contact Anyka and find out,,Android is linux and has a gpl lience so they have to share the code but this has not happene with the
Chitech CT-PC89E which can run debian linux and uses ARM 11 samsung

No way for Android on AK7802 it is just too slooow for it. Look at Android specs - it needs 1Ghz and graphics acceleration. Even if it will run the programs won't be usable. Forget it.

That is not completely true I think, because on the net you can find android tablet PC's working with ARM processors at 533MHz (!). 256Mb-Ram and 2Gb Nand-Flash. farao
