Hello,
I bought mine from Germany. Labeled "allfine pc703"
because it's bricked, I can not give further details.
I'm wishing to see android or any possible linux distro run on the machine some day...

Seems everyone is running at 266mHz...not me, I'm only 248mHz.

Long story short: Ordered from eBay store for $68+$21 shipping. Got a CE6 machine. White lid, but silver body, black keyboard. I wanted an all white one, so I sent it back. It had WM8505 cpu in it. Told them I wanted an all white one, I didn't care the OS version.

They sent me an all white one:

v1.90, hardware v3, Arm 926EJ-S, 248mHz, Release SV122, 128mb RAM...pretty much like everyone else here describes.

Works fine...no problems, but slower than my Augen eGo 533mHz CE5 device, and nothing like the quality or speed of my Tinybook T706 CE6 netbook.

But it is all white...and that's what I wanted! Laughing

Konaki Netbook Wonder on eBay. Not sure of the speed since it was listed as running a 400 MHz Ingenic XBurst (MIPS) processor. Was curious about how well CE 5 runs on a MIPS processor - still curious. Razz

It´s possible to update the processor metrics using the CETree SysMetrics tool on your posts with the hw using
edit, if possible. If you don´t have the file, here is a link. Cheers Chris

It seems the reason that no USB memory or other devices is due to the lack of code in the WinCE O/S
Register items like "put code here" and "dummy code" abound in these locations.

Mine is the very generic BL-07 no-name fully loaded Win CE 6 version, which I bought off an auction site ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It looks very similar to this one here with respect to the box and contents. 7"Tablet AK8802 WinCE

Basically a 300Mhz AK8802 cpu and the Ralink RT2070 802.11 wireless card.

Taken from CETreeSM.exe

Ive tried all the rom images from 1.9 to 1.6 and they didnt work, all of them stopping on the "error init usb" at 12 seconds.
Neither did half a dozen OS's on a sd card including a very cool sounding SwordFish OS,its internal folder structure looked very similar to my CE6 ,as well as all the VT8505 and WM8505's.

So I eagerly await developments from emax. Smile

On a side note, I messed with the USB_BOOT and discovered its electrically the same as DL_JUMP, so I soldered on a loop wire which I just short out when flashing (straight USB cable), works better than holding tweezers on the DL_JUMP spot.

Closer on USB BOOT area, that was the thinnest wire I could find. Smile
