what is anyka mini netbook

it is made in china, have a lot of variant name :Lan Yu EBOOK 7" Notebook ,Ling Long ZT-N670, Mini-999 ,Gold Blue Sky Technology E-BOOK ,cnm netbook, allfine pc703,net brower 3000.....

Does an Anyka 10 inch screen notebook exist ?

Psion claims that "Netbook" is one of their trademarks, so the term notebook seems to be more appropriate for this forum.

Never heard of 10" devices. Anyka CPU is too slow for big screens.

Does 7" Kids Edition of rugged anyka devices for demanding environment exist ?

How do you mean for demanding environment? There are some Anyka Linux devices which are portable dictionary translators and lot of china mobile phones are based on Anyka CPU.

Notebooks can be found "rugged' for demanding environment to better resist to dust, moisture, water, accidentally falls and may last a little bit longer than "not rugged" notebooks. In France we have a 7" notebook "Kids Edition" which seems to be a little bit rugged.

Doesn't seem to be an Anyka device?

It seems is with a Wondermedia CPU. But to really make sure it is best to open the netbook and see the guts.

Well, before opening the Notebook and avoid a static electricity discharge, here are a few infos :

- CPU speed adverted on box : 400 MHz !
- CPU speed from CETree-symetrics : 248 MHz
- CPU speed according to WInCE Core Player : 317 MHz, unspecified OEM Platform.

Difficult to make my mind about the specs !

Discharge a static electricity before openeing it is not a problem. I have opened this netbook multiple times without problem.

Yes it is a new CPU. Do not know the specs and max frequency for this CPU.
