Lost windows ce Password - PC703

Hi I have a mini laptop PC703 and my son has password protected it but forgotten the password for windows CE, is there any way of resetting the password and/or reinstalling the computer to factory settings , dont mind if we lose the data just need to get into windows.

Enter "bios" and format flash2 disk maybe that helps.

Hi I am also new to this and basically dont know how to bypass the ce password on the PC703 when you say enter the bios how do I do this on this machine, any detailed help would be apprieciated

I am not sure that password can be bypassed. It is easier to reflash the machine.

is it possible to boot from flash or USB??

so how do you flash the bios on a lost passworded win ce machine

You flash a new ROM. It depends on original ROM version. If the original ROM version was 1.83 then no ROM is available, for other devices there ar ROMs that fits but only in English.

I too have this problem is it possible to change the ROM if it is the 1.8 for a different ROM please excuse my ignorance.

Of course it is possible but it depends which ROM do you have now?
