Reflash : Allfine PC703 - Win CE 5.0 - FW:1.90

I'm trying to reflash this netbook, but I can't find where to download the 1.90 ROM or any instructions.

Could someone please provide a link or tell me the phrase to google as I'm not getting anywhere.

I've had look at that thread and downloaded that rom. However now I've installed it the netbook won't even boot up, all I get is the 3 l.e.d's light up (num-lock, caps-lock, scroll lock) for about 1 second and then go off. Nothing else happens.

Does this mean it's the wrong rom?

Yes the ROM for Allfine is wrong. Search the forum for allfine as this was already discussed. Ypu should try other ROMs 1.86, 1.89 and so on.

Am looking now!

Can't find any posts that suggests where to get hold of the ROMs, there are links that are only accessible by "Knights", but even those dont say if they would help.

Any tips on how to find what I need would be greatly appreciated.

I just found the second one you mentioned!

and installed the 1.86 which seems to work!

Just going to try the 1.87 from the link you gave me.
