i have some general questions about the PC703.

1. Did anyone know something about the F1 Password?
2. Is it possible to use Active Sync with the 703? If yes, how?
3. Is there a Hard-Reset? If yes, how?

Hi Admin,

ztk or ztc did not work!

I am not shure, but i think, the CNM Notebook is not the same Hardware as the PC 703.

Hello Juergen,
I believe your netbook is allfine. Mine is also. try "ytk" instead.
you know, y and z replace eachother in german and english keyboards.
by the way, admin is right. curiosity kills the cat. and I'm one of those cats.
after formatting my device through F1, I could not find the appropriate rom image.
The best rom which had been offered by admin seems ok. However the touchpad does not work, and the rom comes without useful softwares such as coreplayer, etc...

3.Format Flash2 disk
4.Update XIP
5.Update Eboot
ESC.Exit

Waitting for press key

What means that exactly? What is the differerence between Nand, XIP and Flash2? Is it possible, to save the original ROM?

Hi again Juergen,
the best option among this menu is esc. Please trust me and do not try the first three options. I did it; now I am still looking for the rom for our allfine machine. As I said before admin had advised a working rom. It works, but the touchpad does not. I think allfine needs a tailored rom, which is not available yet. I don't think it would be possible to save a re-installable rom, but if you find a way; please back up before formatting.

The position of those keys on the US-keyboard are the keys to press. For german keyboards this is -> ytk , for french keyboard (azerty) -> wtk.

Guys i Need help... i can´t do teh allfine pc 703 to enter in this screen that u mention i press F1 when i turn on the netbook but only appear the white screen whith the messagem loading operation system...and then enter... how can ai do to enter in this options??

Not sure what to tell you. Everything I found online for the "allfine pc 703" routed back to this forum, usually by link from a user by the name of "openanyka".

What is the status of the netbook if you try to boot normally?

i format all in my pc703 but nand disk it s not formating it s starting but nothing hapend wy ? it s take long to format nand disk?

The NAND format is not working for manu Anyka devices I think it is software bug. This formatting could help if WinCE registry is corrputed but actually formatting is not usable at all.
