Hi, I am newbie in this forum (an english is not my mother language). I just have a question, why is so difficult ti install linux distro in this miniPC?

Is imposible install a linux distro in the SD an then reboot from the SD?

Maybe, my question are very stupid, but I am not an expert and I don't understand this things...

ARM processors are specific, it is not like x86 architecture - for each processor type specific kernel needed.

as I see, this netbook does not support boot from SD card.

So, if we want a linux distro we have to install in the 2GB flash NAND, isn't? And... I suppose that in this moment is imposible and that there is people "working" in it, yes?

For now, I'm trying to launch self-compiled keernel for this processor with HaRET. When it will be successfull, it will be not hard to make minimal distro.

P.S. writin' this post from my netbook =)

I'm new in this forum. I have found some info in this link:

In Linux OS Downloads tab appears to be a 2.6 Prebuilt Kernel Image for the ARM926EJ-S, like as Prebuilt Filesystem Images. There are links to developers info too.

Can be this useful in some way?

there is no existing ak7802 kernel, no device drivers,no bootloader,no nothing.SO HOW SHOULD IT BE NOT DIFFICULT?

the linux is running on the cpu ya just need a uart to usb cable to see it since none of the other parts of the soc are suported
