O.K. I'm going to ask the same question as everyone else. My grandson has lost the password to his netbook, how can I get it operational again for him.
I've scanned this forum and the answer seems to be that I need to reflash it, but how?
I've downloaded the word document recommended elsewhere, but to be honest it's in such poor English that I really don't understand it.
Where can I get a copy of the firmware and the download software for my PC? Googling for these comes up with nothing useful.
Incidentally I've tried the F1 passwords, but they don't appear to do anything.
Any help greatly appreciated, and would restore the trust of an 11 year-old boy in his grandad :-)
